To create a contemporary, front entrance to a domestic home.
The scope of the work included, fixing hard wood cladding, installing rain canopy, laying slate flag stone paving and installing out site lights.
Our client had a very clear image of the finished product and so our first task was to source the hardwood cladding, which would give the lasting look and design required.
The existing porch was then removed to make way for the replacement and the cedar was then treated to protect and preserve it. The cedar cladding was completed and a new rain canopy was installed on top of the cladding to give a clean finish.
The second phase of the project involved the paving and outside lights and we installed six post lights on a sensor and six lights set in to the slate path.
The front entrance was transformed into an eye-catching and stylish entrance and the ‘Horman’ front door and sectional garage doors now match perfectly.
This style is usually found on commercial buildings but looks stunning on this domestic property. The quality of material really shows and the clad finish could be used on a Garden room or contemporary home extension.
